Your data is hosted on dedicated servers at OVH, one of the best hosting providers in Europe. These servers are operated only by WeYield and we are the only ones who have access to them. Our servers are spread over several data centers in France to guarantee a maximum level of security.
Your data travels to our servers via the HTTPS protocol, the same protocol used to encrypt your banking transactions. We use the same protocol to protect your data as you browse our applications. At no time your data circulates on the internet without being encrypted by this protocol, including when we manually manipulate your data to implement our solution.
We use the Nextcloud technology to store your files. This is an independent cloud solution that we administer ourselves. It allows us to keep a very accurate history of all data exchanges, and also to restore old versions of your files when needed. We also keep backups of all data in a datacenter, which is different from the one used for our applications. The applications are hosted in Gravelines and backups in Strasbourg.

- We use the Debian operating system on our servers, which is renowned for its security and which have been used on servers for 25 years. Our servers are updated regularly, in order to benefit from the latest security patches.
- We use the Django and Angular frameworks, which are very popular open source projects whose code is regularly read by many developers to ensure their security.
1 . The simplest explanation is that between the moment when the rateshop request is launched and the moment when you check the prices manually, the price may have changed. That is why you should ask to get the survey on the day you do your analysis, to have fresh rateshop data.
2 . You should know that some brokers give different prices depending on the IP of your internet connection. Unless you have the means to use a proxy when you do a manual check, the site you visit will detect your local IP and show you prices accordingly and different from what your customers or our rateshop tool could find. Example: You want to see prices from Europe. The site detects you as being in the Caribbean thanks to your IP. This one shows you its prices for the Caribbean and not for Europe. Usually our price is better because we have used the Point of Sale you asked.
3 . Some brokers (like Rentalcars) have fun testing price elasticity. To do this, they use among other things what is called "A / B testing". Technically this is equivalent to not providing the same site for each customer (even if it is visually very close). As a result, they test whether the customer is price sensitive or not. But of course, they do not do it every time.
To conclude, these differences between our app and the prices on the sites should not be frequent and impactful for your decisions. If so, do not hesitate to contact us.
